There is  a new trend of  putting a house in  the market by selling a target number of tickets and the lucky one can get  a full house for £10 or £20. This is called raffling.

From the outside it looks like a different way to sell a property but in reality it's just  gambling - the same as buying a lottery ticket.

That's like Tombola as I knew it years back.  Bitcoin, lottery, house for a fiva - many elusive dreams for  broke millenials.

I am not sure if this way of selling properties can raise more cash than when sold in an auction or by a high street agent. Most of them don't  manage to sell enough tickets.
